No longer jobless
Thursday, December 1, 2005Wonderful day!
I have started training with a new company. Or rather, I am newly employed! (Yay, let's hear a cheer from the family support cheering squad. *clap, clap* *cheers!*)
Yeah, I know. Corny ko 'no. But honestly, the waiting was starting to get to me. My bank balance had dwindled to my last P300 before I received a call that I was to start training already. And guess who it was? Sykes Asia! Wow… I wasn't expecting it from them so soon. I must really have impressed them with my fluency in english.
Although I do wonder why they are finding it hard to find people with a modicum of fluency in english. If you go around the malls, most of the time you can hear people talking in the broken english popularized by Kris Aquino ten years ago. The kolehiyala ek-ek she spawned was kinda funny at the same time a relief for most people as they were finally "allowed" to intersperse tagalog words with their english to get their message across. Of course… they still sound funny. :D

Go Angels! Go Angels! Go, go, go Angels! hehehe
